The Mason
On the highest stone of the cathedral, on the side no one faces, a mark is carved.
No eye will ever reach it. The mason carved it for time.
There is an old legend.
In every age, there are people with no names and no faces. They have never met, yet they seem to have heard the same call. They build where no one is watching, leave a mark when they are done, and disappear.

Some said they were mad, spending ten years on something no one understood.
Some said they failed, because the world never heard of them.
But they knew: the world always sees the fireworks first. It sees the foundation only much later.
The legend says one more thing: the unseen never truly disappear.
Whenever the world grows loudest, someone hears the call, leaves everything behind, and walks into the mountains.
Perhaps, right now, someone is listening.
To the hermits. To everyone who goes unseen, yet never stops building.
Here’s to the unseen ones.
